I figured a new thread was necessary since it's a whole other beast, for now it a paper launch but isn't difficult to believe! With the standard GTX 470 already at 215WTDP double that figure and you have 430WTDP with two 8-pin PCI-E connectors, Nvidia is breaking new records here for power consumption! Can you imagine running two of these cards in SLI?!!? One things for sure, a full coverage water block will have to be massive to cover the entire card! I do believe that this card will outperform ATI's HD 5970 at least in DX11 games, I guess we'll have to wait and see. ATI's HD 5970 is being targeted here!
